Olives First Birthday
Olive’s first birthday party was planned during the pandemic and unfortunately had to be cancelled due to spikes in cases. However, we were working with such amazing vendors, that I couldn’t not set up the party & celebrate our little one year old!
Olive’s crown was custom made from Mason and Harlow. She does incredible work & you can order right through her Etsy site where she not only does custom crowns, but has pre-made crowns readily available as well.
We decided on a balloon arch and went through Ellies Party Supply. Balloon arch’s are such a great addition to any party – birthdays, weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, etc. I simply told her the theme (neutral, shocking) and she created the perfect color combo for the party!
The wine labels were also custom made and ordered through Label Your Life. She has such cute pre-made options as well though! We bought a bunch of cheaper bottles of wine (when we thought the party was going to 50 + people) and I replaced the wine labels with these custom ones. Not going to lie, this process was a little bit tedious as you have to soak the original bottle labels in dish soap & water and then peel them off manually – not a fun project, but a very cute outcome & would be great for any fun celebration!
The gauze table runner was from Snassy Crafters and it made the table look so beautiful. I reuse this runner for every single Holiday table setting and have gotten so much use out of it beyond this party.
Olive’s dress was from Nordstrom & we had little olives & a big “1” embroidered onto it for the party!
Although the pandemic ruined the larger party, we still had a fabulous time celebrating our little one year old as a family!
